Eli is a Technical Project Manager for UCSF Center for Digital Health Innovation. He brings over seventeen years of experience in the broader healthcare industry from leadership in clinical roles to clinic/division operational oversight to divisional chief financial officer at one the nation's largest public teaching medical center. He brings an extensive knowledge and expertise in Institutional and Healthcare project portfolios and in managing large, complex multi-departmental/industry development projects.
As a Technical Project Manager, Eli fosters an environment of teamwork, breaks down silos and ensures that strategy and accountability are clearly defined while overseeing performance and maintaining morale. His strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement enhance CDHI’s process-driven management philosophy.
Eli holds an MBA from Florida International University, a BA from San Francisco State University, and is Lean Six Sigma trained.

Hannah Sample is the Program Manager for the UCSF Center for Next-Gen Precision Diagnostics (NGDx). She works closely with the founding research labs of NGDx as well as the UCSF Clinical Microbiology Laboratory, CDHI and UCSF Innovation Ventures to further both research and clinical discovery. Sample earned her BS from Azusa Pacific University in Biology, minoring in Global Studies. Her undergraduate research included studying mouse models of autism as well as a global study project on maternal health in disadvantaged communities in Kenya. Sample has been at UCSF since 2014 and was closely involved in the launch of the NGDx Center, making mNGS for pathogen detection first available for clinical use in 2016. Her goals include streamlining the translation of innovative research and increasing access to novel diagnostics like mNGS for pathogen detection. Her favorite parasite is Dracunculus medinensis.

Mike Sanchez, MPH, CHES, is a Project Manager at CDHI supporting the Digital Patient Experience Program. He has dedicated his career to integrating research, practice, and technology to implement evidence-based solutions into real-world healthcare settings. He applies his training in health services and behavior science in the academic, government, and private sectors of healthcare. Prior to CDHI, he was as a Senior Consulting Manager at Kaiser Permanente, where he led a team to provide strategic consultation services to Executive Directors across a portfolio that included patient experience, mobile apps, cancer care, and automated patient outreach. Prior to that, he worked as a Public Health Advisor at the National Institutes of Health developing research methods, evidence-based tools, and supporting cross-center research in Implementation Science.

Ramakrishna (Ramki) Yerramsetty leads product management for Referrals Automation – a suite of products built at CDHI to improve the efficiency of processing referrals and patient access. Prior to joining UCSF, he led the development and launch of Cisco’s telehealth platform. Before that, he worked at various early stage healthcare startups building solutions for providers and patients - a self-management solution for COPD patients and a mobile care coordination solution for hospitals that helped reduce readmissions and improve patient satisfaction. He also led early customer implementations with hospitals, ACOs and community-based healthcare organizations to drive improvements in care transitions. Before transitioning to healthcare, he managed a customer engineering team at Qualcomm responsible for commercializing multimedia on Snapdragon chipsets. He holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and Master of Science in Computer Networking from NCSU.

Randi McNulty is the Project Coordinator for the SmartertHealth program at CDHI.
Randi has been with UCSF since 2017, prior to which she was the program manager for Pediatric Urology at UCI for six years. During that time, Randi started an ACGME accredited fellowship program for the department, and assisted in the training and implementation of EMR into the clinic setting. She holds a BS degree in Criminal Justice from Cal State Fullerton and Master Degree in Social Work. Randi is also a child advocate for youths in the foster care system.
